Raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Nashville-based contemporary Christian
musician Natalie Layne grew up surrounded by music and worship: her mother sang
and led worship and her father played bass and trombone. She later emerged on
the scene with her debut full-length, Be Human, in July 2020 and quickly made a
name for herself for her soulful R&B-tinged outpourings underpinned by a
