Nad Sylvan (born Hugh Erik Stewart, June 4, 1959, California) is a Swedish
neo-progressive rock singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known as
the frontman for Steve Hackett’s Genesis Revisited tours. A dynamic solo artist
and collaborator, he has built a distinctive presence in modern prog since the
early 2000s. Raised in Sweden, where he began piano at age four, he later
fronted youth bands like White Lightning and Avenue in the 1970s, influenced by
Genesis, Deep Purple, and Zappa. Between 1989–96, retreated into his studio,
eventually releasing The Home Recordings...
