N.E.P.
N.E.P., a Soviet and Russian rock band, was formed in 1987 by vocalist and
guitarist Sergey Parashchuk. The band emerged from the Soviet rock movement of
the 1980s and quickly gained prominence within the Leningrad rock scene. Their
debut album, 70 мгновений весны, was released in 1988 following their successful
performance at the Rock Club's yearly festival. In 1989, N.E.P. released
Диссонанс. The band continued to release albums including Про... (1991) and
