Murat İlkan, born in İzmir, Turkey, on July 8, 1971, is a Turkish heavy metal
singer best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Pentagram (also
known as Mezarkabul). İlkan received classical vocal training and joined
Pentagram in 1995, performing as lead vocalist on studio and live albums
including Anatolia in 1997, Popçular Dışarı in 1997, Unspoken in 2001, and Bir
in 2002. In 2010, he departed the band following a diagnosis of multiple
sclerosis to launch his solo project, releasing his debut solo studio album,
