Mùm is more of a musical collective, led since 1997 by Gunnar Orn Tynes and
Orvar Smárason. Their electro-pop is both sweet and childlike, and full of sonic
curiosities in which Icelandic soil (home to such genre ambassadors as Björk and
Sigur Ros) has become fertile. Since Finally We Are No One, he has become one of
the representatives of the Fat Cat Records stable, where he has released four
albums and a live album, The Peel Sessions.
