Mr. Plata is the stage name of José Plata, a Colombian urban artist hailing from
Tumaco, Nariño. In 2025, he began rolling out a steady sequence of tracks that
established his lane around punchy, street-leaning urbano cuts, including titles
such as “Envidia,” “Chicanero,” “Mi Condena,” “No Cap (Freestyle),” and the Rey
Preciado collaboration “El Gato.” The same year, he also appeared as a credited
artist on collaborative releases like “Metan El Culo Al Monte - Remix” with
Thiago La Voz, Tony Monta, and Robin Rouse, and was billed on the single
“Errores” alongside The Family Music...
