Bessy Argyraki is a Greek pop singer born Vasileia Argyraki on April 4, 1957, in
Athens. She established a professional musical career in 1975 and recorded
albums through the mid-1990s. In 1977, Argyraki represented Greece at the
Eurovision Song Contest as part of a quartet with Paschalis, Marianna, and
Robert, performing the song “Mathima solfege”. Argyraki’s career included
international success in Japan, where her single “Toshihiko” reached the top 10
on the singles chart. Her repertoire featured covers of songs by performers
