Motherflowers are a Venezuelan trio formed in Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui, by
Irepelusa (vocals and songwriting), Frank Lucas (vocals and production) and
Veztalone (vocals and concept), who began collaborating around 2016 and formally
established the project in 2018 as a space to merge hip-hop, alternative pop,
rock and Caribbean rhythms into a self-defined “retrofuturismopsicotropical”
sound. Their first official release cycle arrived in 2019 with the EP
