Moonchild Sanelly – born Sanelisiwe Twisha on November 20, 1987 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa – is an R&B/Kwaito/hip hop singer, songwriter, and dancer. Sanelly refers to her music as ‘future ghetto punk’. She is known from her dyed blue hair and unique fashion sense. Born into a musical family, she moved to Durban in 2005 to study fashion at the Linea Fashion Design Academy.
