MONKEY MAJIK
Monkey Majik is a pop-rock band formed in 2000 in Sendai, Japan, consisting of
Canadian brothers, Maynard and Blaise Plant (singers and guitarists) and
Japanese members, Tax (drummer, who replaced Jan Kuypers in 2004, who himself
replaced Tom Prichard in 2001) and Dick Mori (bassist, who replaced Misao
Urushizaka in 2004). Their modest beginnings saw their first two albums, Spade
(2003) and Eastview (2005) rank only in the top 200 before third studio album
Thank You (2006), skyrocketed to number 5, with the next four albums placing in
