Monique Smit
Margaret Gertrude Mary Smit, known professionally as Monique Smit, is a Dutch
singer and television presenter born on 9 April 1989 in Volendam. She achieved
professional recognition after appearing in the reality series Gewoon Jan Smit
(2005) alongside her brother, Jan Smit. Her debut single “Wild” (2007) reached
number 5 on the national charts. She released her debut studio album, Stel je
voor (2008), which featured the singles “Vrouwenalfabet” (2008) and “Stel je
