Mondo Cozmo – born Josh Keith Ostrander on April 8, 1979 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania – is a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer now based in Los
Angeles, California. As Josh Ostrander, he first rose to prominence in 2000 as
the leader of alt-rock band Laguardia. The band released one album – Welcome to
the Middle (2003) – before splitting up in 2005. The year that Laguardia split
up, Ostrander and former bandmate Greg Lyons then formed the band Eastern
