MOLER
Moler, an indie power pop band, was formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1993 by
Helen Cattanach and Julien Poulson. The trio, originally called Snuff, released
the EP Driven in 1994 under Fat Buddha Records. In 1996, the band renamed
themselves Moler, signed to Infectious/Mushroom, and issued the EPs On Special
and Coaster. Their debut album, Golden Duck, appeared in October 1997 and was
nominated for Best Rock Album at the ARIA Music Awards in 1998. Moler released
the EPs Infatuation in 1997 and Red & White Stripes in 2001 before disbanding.
