Moist
Moist is a Canadian rock band formed in 1992, consisting of David Usher on
vocals, Mark Makoway and Jonathan Gallivan on guitars, Kevin Young on keyboards,
Francis Fillion on drums, and Jeff Pearce on bass. The group originated from
Ontario but came together in Vancouver, where they began writing songs in
November 1992 and played their first gig two months later. In 1993, Moist
recorded a demo tape at the 8th Avenue Sound Studio, which reached Number 1 on
Sam the Record Man's local independent chart. The band signed with EMI Music
