Misié Sadik, whose real name is Mickaël Maragnes, is a French singer born in
Abymes, Guadeloupe, on December 23, 1983. Influenced by French rap and Jamaican
dancehall, he joined the Kollectif Westside and organized sound systems, before
going into self-production. In 2009, he released his debut album Pli Iwen Ki
Zyié, which made him a household name on the island and beyond in the West
Indian community, as he performed in Paris in April 2010 and opened for rapper
