Dominique Mucret, known professionally as Mino, was born on September 9, 1952,
in Paris. She is a singer, actress, and singing teacher who began her career at
16 by joining the troupe of the comedy musical, Hair. She later became part of
Michel Fugain's Big Bazar, contributed to recordings like "Fais comme l'oiseau"
and "Une belle histoire". In 1980, Mino released her debut solo album, Assez
Super, which charted in Belgium. Her subsequent releases included the hit single
"Les mocassins", which earned a gold certification in both Belgium and Canada.
