Milt Raskin was an American swing jazz pianist and arranger born in the United
States in 1916. Milton Raskin performed with Wingy Manone in 1937 and with the
Gene Krupa orchestra between 1938 and 1939. They performed in the orchestra of
Tommy Dorsey between 1942 and 1944. Raskin worked as a musical director for MGM
and Capitol Records, collaborating with artists including Peggy Lee, Nat King
Cole, and Stan Kenton. Their discography as a leader includes the albums Kapu
