Mike and the Moonpies
Mike and the Moonpies, an American neotraditional country and Americana band,
was formed in 2007 by singer-songwriter Mike Harmeier. The group, based in
Austin, Texas, initially consisted of Harmeier, drummer Taylor Englert,
guitarist Catlin Rutherford, and bassist Omar Oyoque. Their debut album The Real
Country was released in July 2010, followed by the EP Mike and the Moonpies in
March 2012. The band gained traction with their subsequent albums, including
Mockingbird, released in October 2012, and Steak Night at the Prairie Rose,
