Mihaela Valentina Runceanu, born on May 4, 1955, in Buzău, Romania, was a
Romanian pop singer and singing teacher. She graduated from the Ciprian
Porumbescu Music Conservatory in Bucharest in 1978 and began her musical journey
with a song broadcast on the radio in 1976. Runceanu taught violin at various
schools before becoming a vocal technique teacher at the Popular School of Arts
in Bucharest in 1980. She launched several hits, including "De-ar fi să vii" and
"Fericirea are chipul tău". Her self-titled debut album was released by
