Miguel Zavaleta
Miguel Zavaleta was born on February 16, 1955, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A
singer, songwriter, and keyboardist, he began his career at twenty-one as the
vocalist of progressive-rock group Bubu, which released Anabelas in 1978. After
spending several years in Ibiza, Spain, he returned to Argentina in 1981 and
co-founded Suéter, serving as the pop-rock and new wave group’s lead singer,
keyboardist, and principal songwriter. Their self-titled debut arrived in 1982,
followed by Lluvia de gallinas in 1984, which included “Mamá planchame la
camisa” and the enduring Argentine rock son...
