Midtown
Midtown, an American pop-punk band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, was formed in
November 1998 by Rutgers University students Gabe Saporta (vocals/bass), Rob
Hitt (drums), and Tyler Rann (guitar/vocals), with Heath Saraceno on
guitar/vocals joining shortly after. Midtown released their first EP, The
Sacrifice of Life, in 1999, followed by their debut album, Save the World Lose
the Girl, in early 2000 through Drive-Thru Records. They signed with MCA Records
