Michel Tonnerre
Michel Tonnerre, born on June 30, 1949, in Quimperlé, France, was a
singer-songwriter. He began writing seriously at the age of 18 and started
performing with a friend in bars frequented by sailors in Lorient. In 1970, he
co-founded the group Djiboudjep with Mikaël Yaouank, where he gained recognition
for songs like "Quinze marins" and "Satanicles". After a stint in the
import-export business and various travels, including to New Caledonia and
