Michel Herr
Michel Herr, born February 16, 1949 in Brussels, Belgium, is a jazz pianist,
composer, and arranger. Herr's career began in 1970, and Herr toured
internationally for many years accompanying harmonica player Toots Thielemans.
As a leader and co-leader, Herr's recordings include Perspective - Musique
ContemporainePopJazz (1978), Good Buddies (1979) with Bill Frisell, Continuous
Flow (1980), Short Stories (1982), Meet Curtis Lundy & Kenny Washington (1983)
with Steve Houben, and No, Maybe...! (1985). Herr's trio album Intuitions (1989)
earned the Prix Sax 89 (B), and Herr's quintet ...
