Michal Tučný, born on January 11, 1947, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, was a Czech singer and musician. He began his musical career at age 14 in Dixieland and participated in the first Czech country music festival in 1967. Tučný's breakthrough came with his television appearance in 1970, which propelled him to household name status. In 1980, he formed his own band, "Tučňáci." Throughout the 1980s, he collaborated with Rattlesnake Annie on the album Anka Chřestýš & Poslední kovboj (1983).
