Michael Card
Michael Card, born April 11, 1957 in Madison, Tennessee, is an American
singer-songwriter known for his contributions to contemporary Christian music.
He began his musical career after his mentor William L. Lane asked him to write
music for weekly sermons at their church. His breakthrough came when Randy
Scruggs requested a demo tape from Card, leading to his first album release.
Since 1981, Card has released over thirty-two original albums and six
compilation albums, including Present Reality (1988), Sleep Sound in Jesus
(1989), and The Word: Recapturing the Imagination (1992). ...
