If superheroes have their Avengers, heavy metal can count on Metal Allegiance, a
band that has been bringing together luminaries of the genre since 2011.
Previous contributors to this crazy project initiated by Mark Menghi include
David Ellefson (Megadeth), Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs) and
Alex Skolnick (Testament), who now form the core group, as well as Philip
