Mercenaire
Mercenaire is an artist from Martinique, active on the Creole trap scene. He
began his career as part of the Thug Music Gang, a collective of artists
including Shin, Bruce Little and Da Boo. The collective plays an important role
in the development of a local trap sound, blending the codes of the American
genre with the Creole language and Caribbean reality. In 2013, Mercenaire took
part in the compilation Trap épi Trafic, a collaborative project designed to
showcase the emerging Martinican trap scene. This initiative helps to define a
