Born on October 5, 1993, Melanie Dyer's musical journey began in a small town in
the New England region of New South Wales, Australia, where she first picked up
a guitar and started to write songs about her life growing up on a sheep and
cropping farm. This propelled her onto the music scene in 2015, with her debut
EP titled Lifetime blending her country roots with pop influences, and drawing
inspiration from artists like Katy Perry, Shania Twain, and Taylor Swift.
