Meiju Annele Suvas-Berger, known professionally as Meiju Suvas, and born on
January 22, 1959, in Helsinki, is a Finnish singer. She began her musical
journey at a young age, taking piano lessons and later learning to play drums.
In 1981, Suvas met Jori Sivonen, who featured her as a background vocalist on
the song "Titanic" by Frederik, which competed for Finland's Eurovision Song
Contest entry. Suvas' breakthrough came with the release of her single "Tahdon
