Mehrzad Marashi, born on September 20, 1980, in Tehran, Iran, is a German
singer. He grew up in Tehran until the age of six before his family emigrated to
Germany due to political reasons, settling in Hamburg. Mehrzad Marashi began his
musical journey at the age of 13 by joining the gospel choir at his school. He
later studied singing and piano at the Sängerakademie for four semesters but did
