MC Tha
MC Tha is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Born Thaís Dayane da Silva on July
5 1993 in the São Paulo neighborhood of Tiradentes, MC Tha became interested in
writing poems and rhymes from a very early age. As a teenager, she started
becoming involved in the Brazilian funk scene, gaining notoriety for her youth
and being one of the few female MCs. After a brief time away from music to focus
on her studies, she was encouraged to return to singing by her friend, popular
