Max Sedgley, born in England, is a British producer, multi‑instrumentalist and
disc jockey whose early training in percussion at Dulwich College and later
classical studies at the University of Edinburgh laid the groundwork for a
career that blended electronic music with trip hop, and nu-funk influences. His
breakthrough came in 2004 with the single "Happy", a remix that reached number
30 on the UK Singles Chart and was adopted by ITV for Euro 2004 coverage,
featured in FIFA Street and various advertising campaigns. In 2006 he released
his debut album From The Roots To The Shoots...
