Xu Meifeng (September 27, 1974), better known as Mavis Hee, is a Singaporean
singer-songwriter. Well-versed in both Cantonese and Mandarin, she made her
debut in 1994 with the full-length Knowingly. Mavis Hee followed up in 1996 with
the album Regret, which proved to be a huge commercial success, selling over
2,500,000 copies and making her a star in the process. The LP Living By Night
also saw the light in 1996 and enjoyed a similar degree of success. In 1997, she
