Matthew Melton
Matthew Michael Melton, born on November 10, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, is an
American musician, songwriter, and producer. Trained as an opera singer from a
young age, Melton initially performed in various operas including Carmen and
Tosca. He formed his first band, Snake Flower 2, in California in 2007,
releasing the debut album Renegade Daydream in 2008. In 2009, he reformed Bare
Wires, initially featuring bassist Paul Keelan and drummer Erin Emslie, and
