Matija
Matija, an alternative pop band, was formed in 2011 by Matt Kovac, Johann Blake,
Jan Salgovic, and Sami Salman. The quartet signed with Clouds Hill in 2016 and
adopted the name Matija, releasing the debut album Are We an Electric Generation
Falling Apart? in 2017. The band toured supporting acts like the 1975 and the
Computers, and in 2020 released the second album Byebyeskiesofyesterday,
featuring singles "Absolutelynothing(today)", "Troiskilometres" and
"Saddaysinthecity". After bassist Johann Blake departed in 2019, the remaining
trio continued until announcing their disbandme...
