Masanori Hamada (born May 11, 1963 in Osaka Prefecture) is the comedian of
Japan's most famous comedy duo, Downtown, and is also a hugely influential host,
actor, and singer. On December 12, 1997, he released his solo single , "Haru wa
wa mataika," which was produced by Tamio Okuda. This song was produced by Tamio
Okuda and was widely popular as a commercial song for East Japan Railway
Company. The song blended Tamio Okuda's distinctive sense of energy with
