Martin Baker is an English organist, composer, and conductor born on July 26,
1967, in Manchester. He studied at Chetham's School of Music and Downing
College, Cambridge. Baker served as Assistant Organist at St. Paul's Cathedral
in 1990 and later at Westminster Abbey. From 2000 to 2019, he was Master of
Music at Westminster Cathedral. He won the improvisations competition at the St
Albans International Organ Festival in 1997. Baker founded the Conference of
