Marko Perković, better known as Thompson, and born on October 27, 1966 in
Čavoglave, Croatia, is a singer-songwriter who gained initial recognition during
the Croatian War of Independence with his nationalist song "Bojna Čavoglave"
(1992). The song became an anthem for Croatian soldiers though his music often
sparked controversy due to its nationalist themes. In 1992, he released his
debut album Moli mala under Croatia Records. His subsequent albums included
Vrijeme Škorpiona in 1995, Geni Kameni in 1996, and E, Moj Narode in 2002. The
