Mark B.
Mark B, born Mark Burdier on November 18, 1987, in New York City to Dominican
parents, is a Dominican-American urban artist celebrated for blending reggaeton,
dembow, and tropical rhythms. Influenced by his father, Marcos Burdier—a
professional merengue dancer and singer—Mark B. developed a passion for music
early on, performing in school talent shows and local venues. In 2012, he began
his professional career as a backup vocalist for Poeta Callejero before
launching his solo journey. His breakout came with the 2014 hit "Pal de
