Mario Duarte
Mario Duarte, born in Barranquilla on June 17, 1965, is a Colombian actor and
musician known for his dual career in rock and television. He first gained
recognition in the early 1990s as the lead vocalist of the rock band La Derecha,
which found success with songs like "Sombras" and "Ay que dolor." After the
group disbanded, he transitioned to acting, making his debut in La madre (1998)
before achieving widespread fame as Nicolás Mora in the iconic telenovela Yo soy
