Marina Gennadievna Verenikina, known as Marina V, was born in 1982, in Moscow,
Russian Federation. She began writing songs at four and attended classical music
school from 6 to 14. After winning a national competition at 15, she moved to
Springfield, Illinois. Marina V's musical career started with her debut CD Let
Me Dream in 2001. In 2005, she collaborated with Jack Douglas on tracks for her
