Marina Rossell i Figueras, born on January 17, 1954, in Castellet y Gornal,
Barcelona, Spain, is a Spanish singer-songwriter known for her work in the
Catalan and Spanish languages. She began her artistic career in 1974, opening
concerts for Lluís Llach and Ovidi Montllor. She released her debut studio
album, Si volieu escoltar (1977), which featured arrangements by Llach and
updated Catalan popular songs. Her next album, Penyora (1978), received the
