Marcus Gad (born November 7, 1990) is a singer-songwriter and
multi-instrumentalist from Nouméa, New Caledonia (France). His music blends
roots reggae, dub, soul, and world music, with lyrics imbued with spirituality
and social consciousness. Accompanied by his band Tribe and his longtime
collaborator and producer Tamal (Clément Thouard), he has established himself as
one of the leading figures in contemporary French reggae. After making his debut
