Jonathan Mark Witt Holder, known as Marcos Witt, was born on May 19, 1962, in
San Antonio, Texas. He began his musical career with the release of Canción a
Dios in 1986 and founded CanZion Producciones in 1987, later becoming CanZion, a
prominent producer of Christian music in Spanish. Marcos Witt's breakthrough
came with the album Proyecto AA in 1991, featuring the hit song "Renuévame",
