Mandi Perkins is a Canadian singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the indie rock band Verona. Raised in Toronto, Ontario, she studied English literature at the University of California, Berkeley before moving to Los Angeles to pursue music. After releasing a series of EPs, she released her debut full-length album, Bleeding the Line, in 2007. Perkins later signed with Sony Music and recorded Alice in No Man's Land, which received only a limited digital release in 2008 following changes at the label.
