Mai Hoshimura, born 星村 麻衣 on April 18, 1981, in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture,
Japan, is a Japanese pop singer. She began her music career with the release of
her debut single "夏色のキャンバス" in July 2002. Her breakthrough came with subsequent
singles like "Stay With You" and "Cherish", which established her presence in
the J-pop scene. Her first album, SOUP, was released in July 2003, followed by
