Madiba King
Madiba King is a Quebec rock singer. His artist name comes from two of his
heroes: Madiba, the nickname of Nelson Mandela, and King, which comes from B.B.
King, one of his earliest influences. At the age of 3, he learned to play
guitar. In 2010, he formed The Beavers Band, with whom he toured Quebec until
their final show at the Bell Centre in 2012. At the end of 2019, he won the
Chansonnier À Bord competition organized by Les 2 Pierrots nightclub. He meets
singer and producer David Jalbert, who offers him a record deal. Madiba King
