Maciej Fortuna
Maciej Fortuna, born on September 13, 1982 in Krzycko Wielkie, Poland, is a
trumpeter, jazz composer, and music producer. He earned a doctoral degree from
the Academy of Music in Poznan in 2012. He began his career performing with
Polish, European and American artists, winning the Grand Prix and TVP KULTURA
prize at the Young Talent Competition ‘Niemen Non Stop’ in July 2008 and the
first prize at the Kodolanyi Jazz Competition the same month. Fortuna released

with Piotr Lemańczyk Quartet, Mack Goldsbur...
