Macabre
Macabre, an American extreme metal band from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in
1985 by Nefarious on bass and vocals, Corporate Death on guitar and vocals, and
Dennis the Menace on drums. Their debut album, Grim Reality, was released in
1987. Macabre gained attention for their unique style, dubbed "murder metal,"
which blended thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore. The band's second album,
Gloom, was released in 1989. In 1992, they signed with Nuclear Blast Records and
