M. M. Keeravani is an award-winning Indian film composer and playback singer who
was born as "Koduri Marakathamani Keeravaani" on July 4, 1961, in Kovvur, Andhra
Pradesh. He launched his career in 1987 as K. Chakravarthi's assistant music
director. By 1990, he was composing his own soundtracks, with 1991's Kshana
Kshanam serving as his first mainstream hit. Kshana Kshanam earned him a Telugu
Filmfare Award for "Best Music Director," an honor that M. M. Keeravani would
